Volunteer Geocaching Day

St Patricks Day 2012
Today Mark Howard, a regular at the park, organised a volunteer morning for a group of Geocachers. They worked in the area of St Patricks Well cutting back Rhododendron, clearing paths and making good the areas around the benches. Some of them made a litter sweep along the road side of the reserve to Spital Dam, collecting 10 bags full of litter. After lunch they went out to look for nine new cashes which Mark had put out in the park before they went live to the public. For more information on geocaching, visit  http://www.geocaching.com
